Addison started racing at the early age of six, where he pursued Quarter Midget racing with the Oswego County Quarter Midget Club. He raced with them for four years until he found another interest that sparked his mind.
In Early 2012, Bowman decided to pursue Horse Back Riding which he stuck with up until 2017. After wining three World Titles with the sport, he decided it was time for him to get back behind the wheel.
He started back up running Small Block Super Modified on Asphalt and raced 2 races at Oswego Speedway and Evans Mills before he knew that dirt racing was more his style. In 2018, he turned to Novice Sportsman where he would run Utica Rome, Can Am, and Fulton Speedway. He picked up a total of six wins within each of those tracks that year.
In 2019, He decided to move up to Regular Sportsman Division to not only increase the competition, but to have a wider range of learning experience within the veterans in the division. He ended the 2019 season with many lessons learned and a 3rd place quick time at Super Dirt Week.
2020 was a rough season for everyone. With the COVID-19 pandemic putting a stop on our race season, Can Am speedway was still the place to be on Friday nights. Although it wasn't a regular season, we made the best of it and were thankful that we even had a chance to hit the track. Even though the year was rough, Bowman picked up three wins that season and topped off 6th overall in points.
2021 has snuck up on us faster than we thought, but that made Bowman even more eager to get this season on the roll. Bowman and his crew packed up in January to head over to Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, FL for their debute of their 2021 ride for the Short Track Super Series. Bowman topped off the weekend with two podium finishes. We are eager to see what 2021 will have in store for us.
